Tradecraft Journal

Terms of Service

Last updated: September 8, 2026

These terms cover using Tradecraft Journal (https://tradecraftjournal.com). By creating an account you agree to them. If something here doesn't match how the app actually behaves, tell us — tradecrafthelp@outlook.com.

Tradecraft Journal is a trading journal: you log your own trades, deposits and withdrawals, and the app calculates statistics (win rate, profit factor, expectancy, and others) from what you enter or import. Nothing in the app is financial, investment or tax advice, and nothing here recommends any trade, strategy or broker. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.

You need one account per person; sharing a login isn't permitted. New accounts get a 3-day trial with no payment required. After the trial (or any time your subscription lapses), an active Standard or Plus plan is required to keep logging trades — your existing data is kept, not deleted, while your account is inactive.

Paid plans are billed by Stripe on the cycle you choose (monthly or annual) and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals; it doesn't retroactively refund time already paid for, unless required by law where you live. Prices are shown on the Pricing page; see our VAT page for how tax is handled.

You keep ownership of everything you enter or upload (trades, notes, screenshots, statements). You grant us only the limited right to store and process it as needed to run the service for you — we don't use your journal data for anything else, and don't sell it (see the Privacy Policy).

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms — most notably, fabricating leaderboard trades. You can stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time from Profile → Billing.

The service is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and available, but don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we're not liable for trading losses, decisions made using statistics shown in the app, or data loss beyond what our own backups reasonably allow — this is why Backup & Restore exists for keeping your own copy. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.

If these terms change in a material way, we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
