Tradecraft Journal

Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026

This lists every cookie and browser-local-storage value Tradecraft Journal actually sets — nothing generic, nothing hypothetical. If a new feature ever adds one, this page gets updated along with it.

You chose which optional categories to allow the first time you visited, and can change that any time.

A cookie is a small piece of text a site asks your browser to store and send back on later requests — that's how a site "remembers" you between page loads. Local storage is similar but stays only on your device and is never sent to any server automatically; we use it purely to remember small display preferences on the device you're using.

Strictly Necessary Set only if you tick "Remember me" at login. Lets that specific device skip the emailed verification code for a limited time, since it already proved who you are once. 30 days

These load only after you turn on "Third-Party / Embedded Content" in Cookie Settings. Until then, the Heatmap tab shows a prompt instead of loading anything.

This app's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Google's own documentation states this service does not use cookies or log personally identifiable information — but your browser does contact Google's servers to download the font files, which necessarily exposes your IP address to them, the same as loading an image from any external site would.

Checkout and billing management happen entirely on Stripe's own hosted pages, not embedded in this app — Stripe may set cookies there, on its own domain, governed by Stripe's own cookie policy, not this one.
