Yes — every new account starts with a 3-day trial, no card required to sign up. You'll need an active plan once it ends to keep logging trades; nothing you've already entered is deleted.

Yes — MT5 statement exports and generic CSV files both import directly from the Trade Log, matching columns by name so it works with most brokers' export formats. Importing the same file twice won't create duplicates.

Plus accounts can export their entire journal (trades, deposits, withdrawals) to a file at any time from Backup & Restore, and re-import it the same way — into Tradecraft Journal or anywhere else that reads the format.

Leaderboard participation is opt-in, and entries can require a verified broker/prop-firm statement upload rather than manually-entered trades. Adding fake or fabricated trades to appear on a leaderboard results in a permanent ban — we take this seriously enough to say so directly in the app.

Passwords are hashed, never stored in readable form. Personal details are encrypted at rest. Sign-in supports email-based two-factor verification. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.

From your Profile's Billing section, which opens Stripe's own Customer Portal — upgrade, downgrade or cancel there and it takes effect the way Stripe describes at that point (immediately, or at the end of the current billing period, depending on the change).
